My wife and I have been married for 29 years. It certainly hasn’t always been easy! I think the one thing that helped up get through all the tough times, was the idea that we couldn’t quit. Couldn’t just walk away. That would have been easy. And I certainly gave Kathy plenty of reason to walk. But, we stuck it out. God put us twogether, and he kept us twogether. We each had to find and listen to his voice of reason. Somehow, we made it. I just want everyone to realize that marriage is work, no matter how much you love one another, it still takes work and practice. But it’s all worth it in the end. Never quit. Never give up. Twogether, it can be done and it’s definitely worth it.
(and yes, I spelled twogether in a different way, for a purpose)
To the Elliotts: Thank you so much for what you are doing through your book and now the Grit series. You two are a blessing to us all.
